‘The one to watch at this years London Fashion Week’
We have just discovered PAVANE a high fashion label by dynamic duo Fiona Ranson (pattern cutter) and Georgina Edmonds (textile designer) Watch this space for their AW14 collection at London Fashion Week! “The label’s signature is sharp tailoring balanced with fluid draped forms. All prints and surface treatments are original and the fabrics are custom developed with mills in Japan, Italy and the UK.” Fiona Ranson (pattern cutter) and Georgina Edmonds (textile designer) Both originally from Sydney, Georgina and Fiona have lived in London and Paris for several years, working for Hussein Chalayan, Yohji Yamamoto, Marc Jacobs, Erdem, Martin Grant, Roksanda Ilincic, Cerutti and Richard Nicoll. This designer is very exciting with not just beautiful cuts to the designs, but also texturally. We like the playful touch too in the purple latex.
* AW14 is Pavane’s third season
* They first showed at London Fashion Week in September 2013.
* They are stocked by Boutiquette which is a new online store launching in February 2014 – which has been started by the ex head of private clients for Harrods. Its remit is new high end luxury designers.
